A crazy new water sport is coming to Cornwall. An audacious new water sport which is taking the world by storm will soon be heading to Cornish shores.
The crazy new water sport is coming to Cornwall. Flyboarding, which uses powerful streams of water like a fireman’s hose to let people ride above the waves, or even dive underneath the water, is coming to Penzance.
Since its invention in 2011, the likes of Justin Bieber, Leonardo Di Caprio, Katy Perry and the Jenner sisters have all been spotted blasting out of the ocean on jet-powered flyboards in sunny locations across the globe.
But soon, adrenalin junkies can have a go without jetting off to the other side of the world.
Pendeen couple Matt and Rachel Gould are launching their own Flyboarding business, ‘Have A Go! PZ’, in June.
Rachel, 28, said: “We’re both really keen on watersports and we believe we’re offering the first Flyboarding experience in Cornwall.
“I’ll be taking care of things on shore, while my husband Matt and our friend Steve, both of whom are qualified instructors, will be running sessions.”
Rachel says they have already attracted crowds along the seafront while out practicing in Penzance Bay.
