Cornwall Air Ambulance landed near Tintagel beach, directly beneath the castle, this afternoon (Sunday, October 4).
The air ambulance crew and a coastguard team were called to the beach after a man slipped on rocks and hit his head.
A spokesperson for Falmouth Coastguard said: “The air ambulance had to land a couple of hundred yards away from the beach, so our guys carried him to the helicopter.”
