Anna Phoebe brings her cinematic, violin-led soundscapes to the Minack Theatre under the full moon on 1st May

Composer, producer, performer and broadcaster, Anna Phoebe, brings her cinematic, violin-led soundscapes to the breathtaking setting of the Minack Theatre – a space of unparalleled natural drama. Under the full moon on 1st May 2026 from 7pm, Anna performs a one-off, specially curated performance in Cornwall’s iconic cliff-top theatre.

Elemental and immersive, this is an invocation to the spirits of sea and sky: part ritual, part performance. Anna will share music from her Sea Souls and Divergence albums, alongside new compositions created specifically for this singular evening.

The performance at the Minack Theatre coincides with the release of Midnight Sessions, exclusively on Bandcamp on 1st May, with digital release on all platforms coinciding with the next full moon on Sunday 31st May. The Midnight Sessions is an ongoing ambient series, where Anna has reworked her tracks for late-night listening.

Anna says, “With the Midnight Sessions, I wanted to slow the tracks down, strip away melodies and focus on the textural elements – where each note can settle in its own space and the listener can drift alongside the music as everything from the outside world falls away.”

Anna Phoebe is a composer, producer, performer and broadcaster whose work exists at the intersection of classical, electronic, and experimental music. Renowned for her visceral, violin-led soundscapes, she crafts bold, emotionally charged works that balance raw human energy with cutting-edge sonic exploration. Drawing inspiration from both the natural world and technological frontiers, her music moves fluidly between intimacy and scale – from quiet meditations to cinematic intensity.

Anna’s solo album Sea Souls is described as a dialogue between the sea and  psyche – love letters to the sea, loss, and the shifting tectonics of emotion. Her 2025 album, Divergence, is an anthology of sonic explorations rooted in the human experience – a deeply personal reflection on mortality, memory, and spiritual transformation.
