Areas in Cornwall with lowest number of Covid cases

There have been 203 new confirmed cases of coronavirus in Devon and Cornwall, Government data shows.

While today’s figures for the counties are “slightly higher” than last week’s numbers, they are “skewed” by the backdating of some positive cases in North Devon.

In Cornwall, however, numbers mostly remain low.

The area with the highest number of individual cases in Cornwall is Callington & Pensilva, which recorded 22 cases between November 17 and November 23.

Callington & Pensilva is also the area with the highest coronavirus rate in the county, with a rate of 263.5 cases per 100,000 people.

But elsewhere in the county, there are 32 areas that are cluster-free.

This means these areas have not seen more than three cases (in the time-frame of November 17 to November 23).
