The latest data on coronavirus clusters in Cornwall has been released.
Statistics for the seven-day period covering January 14 to January 20 show that of the 73 areas of the county, the rate is rising in just 14.
In 55 areas, the rate has fallen since our last report on January 22, in what is an encouraging sign for health officials and communities in general.
In four others, the figure has stayed the same.
The table below shows in bold those places where numbers have risen – while those not in bold have seen numbers fall, unless they state ‘no change’.
In the period in question, Helston had the highest number of cases with 50.
It had the most cases on January 22 also, but even there numbers are falling.
Penzance Quay was second highest in the table below, with 46 cases, while Penzance North was third with 43.
Camborne East had 32 cases, making it the fourth highest area, and fifth was Truro West with 31.
The cluster-level data – areas of roughly 7,500 people – is five days behind the current calendar day, but gives a more detailed picture of exactly where infections have been recorded.
