A major road connecting Cornwall and Plymouth was blocked in both directions for a while this morning following a crash which has led to an oil spillage.
Traffic monitoring website Inrix reports that two vehicles were involved in the incident on the A38 in Landrake and traffic between Trerulefoot and Saltash is being affected.
A tweet from Highways England has urged drivers in the area to “approach with caution”.
Devon and Cornwall Police says: “Emergency services were called at 8.15am to the A38 at Landrake following reports of a two vehicle collision.
“Two people are being checked over by ambulance at the scene. The road is now open.”
