Have you ever wondered how a museum looks after their collection?
Come along to Hayle Heritage Centre on the 4th of March, and have peek behind the scenes, throughout the day we are holding demonstrations on collection care, giving tours of our archive space, giving the public a chance to view a range of objects not normally on display, you can even have a go at object marking and cleaning yourself!
Castaway ropeworks will be here as well showing you how to make keyrings and other objects from the ghost fishing nets they find on Hayle’s beaches.
