Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay has been left ‘shell shocked’ after being egged by his own daughter in a TikTok video.
The video, which has received over 230,000 likes, shows Ramsay’s daughter Tilly squirting water into her father’s face before cracking an egg on his head.
Throughout lockdown, the father daughter duo have created and uploaded many TikTok videos together.
Bank Balance first aired on February 24 with the famous chef hosting the “game of strategy and precision”, which includes contestants answering a series of questions and balance “bars of gold” on a wobble board.
If contestants are successful, they can win a whopping £100,000 – but it seems viewers are not impressed.
The Mirror reports that on the launch of the show 2.7 million people tuned it and by Friday, that figure had fallen to 1.6 million.
BBC bosses have put the 10-part show in the prime 9pm slot for three nights a week.
Ramsay, who has homes in Cornwall and stayed in the county during the first lockdown, compared the show to The Chase and Who Wants to be a Millionaire.
Despite the falling ratings BBC insiders insist the 54-year-old chef appeals to younger audiences.
A source at a rival broadcaster said: “Even if they wanted to stick Ramsay in an earlier slot their hands are tied because of the swearing.
“You can’t be impressed with those numbers for 9pm on BBC One.”
