Person hit by train on main line in Cornwall: cancellations and delays

Trains through Cornwall have been cancelled or delayed this evening after a person was hit by a train.

Great Western Railway has warned that the line is blocked as a result of the incident.

Due to this, there are cancellations to services between Plymouth and Penzance.

GWR said: “Train services running to and from these stations will be cancelled or delayed by up to 60 minutes.

“Disruption is expected until 7pm.”

Anyone who holds a valid single, return, or weekly ticket can claim compensation for delays of 15 minutes or more. Keep your ticket and visit
