Pink paint attack on Cornwall police station

Police are appealing for the public to help after pink paint attack on a Cornish police station.

A large 10litre tub of pain was thrown over the perimeter fence at Saltash Police Station.

The paint caused damage when it splattered across a silver grey Vauxhall car parked behind the fence.

Officers said it took an hour to clean up the mess.

The was thrown over the fence behind the police station in Callington Road at 9am today Saturday (October 17).

Sgt Chris Chilcott, police response Sergeant in East Cornwall, appealed for the public to help find the attacker.

The paint also damaged the fence and parking area.

Sgt Chilcott published pictures of the damage on Twitter asking the public: “Can you help? At 0900 hrs this morning someone threw paint over the fence at Saltash Police Station, causing damage to a vehicle.

“Were you in the area at the time or do you know who did this? You can call Crime Stoppers 0800 555 111 anonymously. Police ref CR/087584/20.”
