Officers have issued a warning and appealed for further victims to come forward after receiving several reports of vehicles break-ins.
In a statement on Facebook, Bude police said that although officers were aware of a number of break-ins in the Flexbury area, there are many incidents which have not been reported to the police.
The post said: ”We are aware of several vehicle break ins in the Flexbury area of Bude over the past week.
”We also know that there are many more that have not been reported.
”Please can we encourage you to report to police if your car has been entered and items stolen, either by telephone on 101, or reporting via the Devon and Cornwall Police website?
”The more that are reported means we can direct the appropriate resources to try to identify those responsible.
”Please can I also take the time to remind you all to ensure your cars are locked and nothing of value is left on show?”
