Theme Parks in Cornwall

There are various daily events and attractions on offer in Cornwall Theme Parks depending on the time of year. You can watch the penguins and otters being fed twice daily and during high season keepers will often invite a few children to help. You can watch spectacular bird displays such as the Free Flying Bird Show which features Billy the cockatoo flying into the crowd to collect money!! There are also eagles, falcons and owls on display. Children will have a wonderful time feeding and petting the friendly animals in the fun farm, which includes donkeys, goats and pot-bellied pigs. The fun farm also has its own guinea pig village as well as rabbits and delightful chipmunks. For more energetic children there is Fort Paradise with its Tarzan slide, swings and climbing frames. There is also a picnic area nearby where parents can sit while their children play.

Featuring the ‘Extreme force’ ride, huge undercover areas, exhibitions including the acclaimed Flambards Victorian Village, family rides including the Hornet Coaster and the Mighty Thunderbolt, live entertainment and gardens.
Daubuz Moors is a particularly pleasant area which is maintained particularly with wildlife in mind. The Moor has had many community based local projects undertaken there. The Moors were gifted to the City of Cornwall by Reverend Enyas in 1977, for the use of the residents of the City. Hendra play area is situated under the viaduct and is within easy reach of Victoria Gardens. Throughout the summer there are days when free entertainment is provided for children.

Victoria Gardens were designed and created to commemorate the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Victoria created in 1898. Before this particular garden was established there use to be the smaller Waterfall Gardens which was created in 1893. The Waterfall Gardens are still off St George's Church. Victoria Gardens is laid out on a steep south facing slope. Typical of late 19th century style of trees and shrubs interrelated with paths and flower beds.
